3 Things Our Couples Love Most About Getting Married at Eden Try

You've downloaded the pricing guide. You've probably looked through the photos. And there's a good chance you have approximately 37 other wedding venue tabs open right now.

We get it.

When you're searching for a wedding venue, it's easy to start comparing everything on paper. How much does it cost? What's included? How many guests can we have? What does the ceremony space look like?

Those things matter. Of course they do.

But after hosting weddings at Eden Try for years, we've learned that the things our couples end up loving most aren't always the things they expected to care about when they first started looking.

Here are three we hear about again and again.

1. You Don't Just Book the Venue. You Get Us.

Eden Try is family-owned, and that shapes almost everything about what it's like to get married here.

When you book your wedding, you aren't handed off to a giant events department or a different person every time you have a question. You get to know us, and we get to know you.

Like... actually know you.

Our brides have our cell phone numbers. They stop by the winery for a glass of wine. They bring their parents out to see the property again. They text us questions, send us inspiration pictures, ask our opinions and occasionally need someone to tell them that, yes, the thing they're currently stressing about is absolutely going to be fine.

Somewhere between the venue tour and the wedding day, something changes. You're not just "the October 10th wedding" on our calendar anymore. You're our couple.

And by the time your wedding day arrives, we've heard about your family, your wedding party and probably at least a little bit of the family drama. 😂

Then we finally get to meet all of these people we've been hearing about for months.

That's one of our favorite parts.

We treat every wedding at Eden Try like it's happening to someone in our own family—because by that point, it kind of feels like it is.

2. The Bar Is Part of the Party

There are wedding bars... and then there's the Eden Try bar.

For us, the bar isn't just somewhere your guests stop to grab a drink. It's part of the celebration. We're behind it pouring wine, mixing cocktails, meeting the people you've been telling us about for months, and probably learning a few stories about you that you conveniently forgot to mention during planning.

And one of the biggest perks? The wine is already included in your wedding package.

Your bar includes up to four Eden Try wines, plus two signature drinks served during cocktail hour. You get to choose cocktails that feel like you—whether that's his-and-hers favorites, something inspired by your pets, or just the drink you know your friends are going to love.

For beer and liquor, we do things a little differently: you get to purchase it yourself.

And we LOVE that for you.

Want to make a Costco run in D.C.? Do it. Your favorite bourbon goes on sale? Grab it. Find a great deal on the beer your entire wedding party drinks? Stock up.

You're not stuck paying a venue's marked-up price for every bottle or choosing from a preset alcohol package. You shop on your own terms, take advantage of sales, and bring everything to us for the wedding.

Then you get to stop thinking about it.

On wedding day, our team takes it from there. We're pouring the Eden Try wines, making your signature drinks, cracking open beers, serving your guests and keeping the bar moving while you enjoy your wedding.

And somewhere along the way, the bar becomes one of the gathering places of the night. Grandma comes back for another glass of the wine she discovered at cocktail hour. Your college friends introduce themselves. Someone inevitably tells us, "The bride said I HAVE to try this."

That's the part we love most.

You get an easy bar experience, more control over what you spend, and a team behind the bar that's actually excited to celebrate with your people.

And yes... there's a very good chance we'll be dancing back there by the end of the night.

3. You Don't Have to Decorate an Entire Wedding from Scratch

This one tends to become a much bigger deal once couples actually start pricing out weddings.

All those little things add up.

The hurricane glasses. The candle holders. The signs. The risers. The easels. The decorative pieces you need for the welcome table, cocktail hour, ceremony and reception.

You can spend months buying them—and then wake up the morning after your wedding surrounded by 74 candle holders wondering what on earth you're supposed to do with them.

So we keep a collection of wedding décor that our couples can use.

Our Estate and Manor House wedding packages both include access to our standard wedding décor collection, with pieces like hurricane glasses, signs, risers and more. You can use what works with your vision, bring in your own special pieces and skip the things you don't need.

Then there's our vintage furniture collection.

It's one of our favorite ways to completely transform the property: vintage sofas, chairs and lounge pieces tucked into cocktail hour or reception spaces make everything feel a little more collected, comfortable and Eden Try.

The vintage furniture collection is included with our Manor House wedding package and can be added to our Estate wedding package if you want the same look.

It's less stuff for you to source, transport, set up, tear down and somehow convince your parents to store afterward.

And we're very much in favor of that.

Maybe That's the Eden Try Difference

We could tell you about the barn.

We could show you the ceremony spaces.

We could talk about what's included in your package and how many people fit around a table.

And we will.

But those aren't usually the things our couples talk about after the wedding.

They talk about how comfortable they felt here.

How easy the bar was.

How much they appreciated not having to rent or buy every little thing.

How our team knew their parents by name.

How Eden Try started feeling like their place before their wedding day ever arrived.

That's what we want you to experience, too.

Come see it for yourself.

Walk through the barn. Wander the ceremony spaces. Peek inside the décor collection. Meet the people who would be there with you through all of it.

And see if Eden Try feels like your place, too. 🤍
